I decided to walk around the mall a bit right after work since it’s not so busy. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this carousel in progress. But, here it is for you! I loved these as a kid. I liked pretending I was on a real horse, and I’d always hope that the horse would jump off of the carousel like in Mary Poppins. Sadly, that never happened to me. I definitely liked the horses that went slowly up and down, too. Plus, look how pretty it is? It’s hard to not look at all the lights, colors, and horses. This photo isn’t that great, but it was hard to get the whole carousel with the pole in the way. So, who wants to go on this with me?!
I was driving home after running errands and I saw this bumper sticker in front of me:
So how’s that “hope” and “change” working out for you?
That bumper sticker made me sad. Yes, hope and change were in quotes. It sounds very sarcastic. That person must lead a depressing life. I try to be as optimistic as I can, and I know it’s hard sometimes, but you shouldn’t have that attitude! Don’t let this bumper sticker put you down if you ever see it!
