Rachel, Day by Day
Hello! This is me playing the guitar. In case you were wondering, this is an A chord. It is my favorite because it’s the easiest and it sounds pretty! All you need are those three fingers you see in the photo. Maybe I should be a hand model. My nails do look nice and clean… anyway, enough of that. I’m practicing in this photo before my lesson. I did very well at my lesson yesterday! I do feeling like I’m improving, but not enough to be awesome or play in front of anyone. If I did, it would definitely have to be a slow song. It still takes me a while to switch from chord to chord, unless they are easy like this A chord. Well, I like this photo! It looks a bit artsy, which is cool.
Yesterday was a good day! I had my guitar lesson (like I mentioned before) and I did pretty well. Scott and I then went to Za’s for dinner (yummy). I had pasta and garlic bread. Then, we saw Morning Glory. I thought it was hilarious! I hope news stations are really like that. I know it got bad reviews, but I would give it an A- or B+ rating. Maybe I’m too nice, though. It made me realize that I don’t want to end up being a workaholic, though. It seems stressful. Anyway, we then went to The Esquire for a drink and ran into a lot of people we knew! Scott ran into a few family friends, and I saw my cousin and a guy from work. Apparently that’s the place to be, and I don’t think I’ve been there in over a year. I’ve been missing out I guess!
