Day 757: Water

February 2015 Photo a Day: Day 8

Day 757: Water

A Brita pitcher full of water.

For today’s picture in the photo challenge, it had to be water. Too bad I don’t live near the ocean! Since I don’t, here’s a pitcher full of water for you. I like using the Brita pitcher; it makes the water taste better sometimes. Mmmm, water is so nice and refreshing. What else can I say on this subject? Not much.

Last night, I went to my friend Graham’s surprise 40th birthday party! It was a fun time. I got to see friends I haven’t seen in a while, which is always great. For his birthday, we all chipped in and got him a CD for every year he was born. So he had 40 gifts to open! It was pretty cool. I got him a Hootie and the Blowfish CD from 1994. He really liked them! We had some good food and drinks at the party. The chocolate cake was delicious! And later we even had a pinata. Fun times! Here’s a photo collage for you:

Fun times with friends!

It was a fun party. Happy birthday to Graham!

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Day 596: Year in Review

Rachel, Day by Day

Day 596: Year in Review

I don’t think I ever shared this photo (I took it near the beginning of the year). I thought it was cute!

Well, 2012 is almost over. It’s time to write all of the highlights in my life this year! Well, for this year in general, it seemed like a lot of bad and good things happened. It was a good year for gay marriage (woo!), Obama won re-election, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes broke up (I don’t really care about that, though), Kate Middleton is pregnant, Draw Something and Pinterest became really popular, Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen was a popular song, and the Olympics in London were awesome.

As for some not so great things, there has been no hockey season so far, too many violent things happened like the Colorado theater shooting and the Newtown Connecticut shooting, and Hurricane Sandy. But, I don’t want to talk about bad things right now.

I saw many movies this year, including Dark Knight Rises, Avengers, Men in Black 3, Beauty and the Beast (in the theater!), Brave, Lincoln, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Vow, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Argo, Taken 2, and The Artist. Out of all of these, I think Dark Knight Rises, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Argo, and The Artist were my favorites. You should check them out if you haven’t!

As for shows, I was into Revenge, New Girl, Amazing Race, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Cougartown, and Chopped. I think HIMYM might be the favorite of the year. I also got into the band Mumford & Sons and Fun. And, yes, I do actually like Gangnam Style by Psy!

Alright, so let’s start at the beginning of 2012. I rang in the new year at Christina’s house and went out to dinner earlier in the day for my Uncle John’s birthday. Both were lots of fun! I also spent the night at Mel and Larry’s and we ate yummy pancakes the next morning. Good times!

I started the Color Challenge early on in the year (click here for the first day and click here to read more about the challenge). I actually came up with that on my own and had fun with it. If you are a regular reader, you know what I’m talking about. 😉

My friend Nicole had a baby in February! Her name is Eleanor (and I just saw her a day or two ago). She is so cute and I hope I get to see her more. Andrea had a baby in September named Jacob! He’s a cutie, too. I can’t believe my friends are having babies!!

We celebrated Scott’s mom’s birthday early in the year at the casino in Peoria and at the Burger Barge. We did the same for Stacie’s birthday in August, too, and both places are A LOT of fun. I hope we go back soon!

On a not so great note, I found out this year that I have asthma. I tend to notice it around dogs or cats, so it’s ok most of the time. I can handle it!

Let’s see… I had some fun movie nights with Mickey, went to a fun wine bar with my mom, went out with Anne Shea a lot when I lived in Champaign, enjoyed dinners with Stacie and Maggie, played lots of tennis in the spring and summer, had fun getting pedicures and manicures with Anne, enjoyed dinners with Zach, had many guitar lessons, had a nice Valentine’s Day with Scott at Biaggi’s, loved good times at the Essig’s house, saw Venus, and had a great time playing some softball over the summer with the Human Kinetics folks. Those are some quick highlights since I’m typing a lot!

We had lots of fancy and regular happy hours with my Champaign friends throughout the year. The fancy ones at Radio Maria and Destihl were awesome. Another memorable time was when Kate, Anne, and I went to Boltini and got our palms read! Good times.

I went to Christina’s birthday party back in February at Mel’s house. We also went to Flat Top Grill. I miss hanging out with those people! Then the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Elmhurst the next month was a good time. Mel and Larry visited us in Normal near the beginning of the year, too!

We went on a big trip this year to Gulf Shores, Alabama! We spent lots of time at the beach, stayed in an awesome condo, ate great food with great company, spent time on the enormous balcony, went to the Battleship Memorial in Mobile, Alabama, shopped in Fairhope, had a shrimp boil, and basically had an AWESOME time! Here’s a photo from Gulf Shores:

Day 596: Year in Review

Let’s see… what else? I made a scavenger hunt for my family on Easter, hung out with Christina in Champaign one weekend, went to Drury Lane for brunch on Mother’s Day, spent the day at Arlington Racetrack, went to Hannah and Sydney’s (my cousins) 8th grade graduation party, went to the Taste of CU, celebrated Scott’s birthday at Alexander’s, went to a carnival in Normal, went to Stacie’s awesome 30th birthday celebration, went to the Shakespeare Festival with Anne and Brendan, went to the Mackinaw Valley Winery with Scott, and went to Bruegala Beer Festival. Woo!

Mel, Christina, and Brittany visited me over the summer. We had a great night at Boltini, spent time at the pool, and hung out. It was awesome! I hope we get to do that again soon. My Aunt Carol, Sydney, and my mom visited me in Champaign, too! We hung out, mini golfed, got ice cream, and ate some good food. I love having visitors! I got to see Sydney in a few musicals this year: Aladdin and Sound of Music. She was great in both of them!

My family and I visited my Uncle John in Michigan! We saw many beautiful waterfalls and parks. The parade was fun and the Pictured Rocks Boat Cruise was awesome! We saw fourth of July fireworks on a boat on the lake, which was cool. We also went to a casino and mini golfed. Good times! Here’s a photo from Michigan:

Day 596: Year in Review

I went to the Blackhawks Convention with my family! I met Jonathan Toews again with my cousin Sydney, which was probably the highlight of the weekend. She was SO excited! We went to a wonderful meal at RL (Ralph Lauren’s restaurant) that weekend, too. We also visited Buckingham Fountain and danced in Grant Park. For my birthday, some friends and I went to Boltini, Cream and Flutter, and Destihl for a drink. Good times! Here’s a photo of Sydney and Jonathan Toews:

Day 596: Year in Review

I guess the biggest thing that happened this year was that I moved in with Scott. I now live with a boy! Weird. It’s been awesome, though. 🙂

Want to hear more? Well, Scott got his wisdom teeth pulled, which was an adventure. It was funny seeing him try to eat yogurt. We had a Labor Day cookout with my family, celebrated my grandpa’s 85th birthday at The Clubhouse, went to the Apple and Pork Festival, carved pumpkins with Scott’s family and threw a Halloween party at our house with work friends (and went on a haunted trail!), saw Mary Poppins in Peoria, and saw Singing in the Rain at Drury Lane.

I’m almost done! Scott and I saw the documentary Man on Wire at the Art Theater and got to meet Philippe Petit! It was awesome; Scott was so excited. We had a great Thanksgiving with Scott’s family and even did a scavenger hunt! The Turkey Trot was fun, too.

It was great seeing my family on Christmas Eve; we ate Cuban food, sang, opened presents, and played Cuban Bingo. Christmas Day was great, too; we saw most of Scott’s family, exchanged presents, ate a lot, played Minute to Win It games, and had a White Elephant exchange. Good times!

I just went to Brookfield Zoo recently with Uncle John and Scott. I haven’t been there in a couple of years, so that was great! And I plan on ringing in the new year by having dinner with my family and then going to Christina’s house. Woo!

This year was truly a great one. I got to spend time with some awesome people in amazing places. Yes, I know I just typed up a lot and some of you might not take the time to read all of this, but I like looking back on everything I’ve done in a year. To my friends, family, and Scott, you are all such wonderful people and I don’t know what I would do without you. Here’s to a great 2013!

Day 583: Stockings

Rachel, Day by Day

Capturing December: Day 18

Day 583: Stockings

Sorry, I’m a day behind! Here are our stockings, but I’m pretty sure I took a photo of these already. I think they are cute! But, I do want to get ones with our names on them someday. Or I can just write our names on these. I really like my Warm Winter Wishes basket thing on the ground; we’ve been putting our Christmas cards in it. Good times. Yay Christmas!

I had my guitar lesson yesterday and it went well. We played some more Christmas music! I probably won’t be playing my guitar for people this Christmas; I’ll be too embarrassed! Maybe just for Scott.

I talked to a few people yesterday about how the world is supposed to end on Friday. We kept joking about our current plans on things and how we should just stop what we are doing and enjoy the next few days. Maybe we really should start living like we only have around 5 days left to live. What would you do in those five days? I have lots of ideas of what I’d do. I’d definitely try to be with my friends and family as much as I could. And maybe go somewhere awesome I’ve never been before.

Goodnight!

Day 565: Sound of Music

Rachel, Day by Day

Yikes, I haven’t updated in a long time!! I’m going to be better for the rest of the year, though. (And yes, that only gives me about a month). Here is a photo of my cousin Sydney! She was in the musical Sound of Music and played Brigitta, one of the Von Trapp children. Here she is talking to her father, Georg. I love her expressions! She had a lot of lines and did a great job. Of course, I cried like a baby. Here’s another photo of all the Von Trapp children singing goodnight:

She is so cute!! Great job, Syd. And everyone else in the musical!

So, what else is new? Life has been busy, but fun! We are about 5 months away until the wedding, which means panic mode might come in a few months. But, I’ve been having some fun doing all the little things. Thanksgiving has come and gone; it was a beautiful day! Scott and I walked a Turkey Trot in the morning with some of his family. We later ate tons of amazing food, played games, and went on a Thanksgiving scavenger hunt. What a fun day!

On Black Friday, Scott and I put our Christmas decorations up! We have colored icicle lights hanging on the gutters and our big pretty tree is in the living room. We even have stockings hanging on the bookshelves! I’m in the Christmas spirit already. I’m back to playing Christmas music at my guitar lessons, too. I guess we ended up buying one thing on Black Friday: an adapter for the Christmas lights. And it wasn’t even on sale. Sad! Oh, I did take back some extra lights to Hobby Lobby and exchanged them for a tree skirt. Not sure if that counts, though. I visited family the weekend after Thanksgiving and had a great time with them, too! We hung out, relaxed, played games, and ate more food! Good times.

Here’s a random question… where did the mustache craze come from? I keep seeing them on the Internet, in decorations, sold on things in stores (like t-shirts and bottle openers), and so on. They keep coming up at parties and weddings, too. I’m just not getting it. Maybe I’m behind on things.

Well, I have an announcement! I’m going to do a December Photography Challenge starting on December 1st! So, I’ll be writing a lot more soon. Here’s the challenge (and you can click on Photography Challenges above to see it again):

So, stay tuned! And go put some Christmas decorations up. Right now.

Day 559: Labor Day

Rachel, Day by Day

Yikes, I need to update! This photo was taken Labor Day weekend. I was at Schnucks with my Uncle John getting some condiments/toppings for burgers and pop. I thought it was awesome that this M&M lady was there, so I had to take a photo! I sort of wish this whole thing was on sale; I’d buy her and display her in the living room. Ok, now really. But I thought it was funny and cute! Rain was actually pouring down heavily while we were there, and I got soaked running in and out of the store. It was pretty fun! I haven’t ran in the rain in years. Good times!

My family visited my over Labor Day weekend! My mom, Ray, Grandpa, and Uncle John all drove down. We had a cookout at our house on Saturday, hung out, played games, and showed them around town. They stayed until Sunday, which was nice. I took them to the mall to buy Beer Nuts on Sunday since that is Bloomington/Normal’s specialty. Actually, I’ve never even tried them yet. Are they good? Maybe I don’t fully live here until I try them. I’ll do that someday. Anyway, it was a fun weekend! It was fun hosting a cookout, too. Thanks for visiting!

Life has been pretty busy lately. I’ve been playing tennis, going to my guitar lesson, wedding planning, working (of course), and visiting friends and family. I’ve lived with Scott over two months now (that went by fast!). I must say, I really like it! I missed him a lot during the week when I lived in Champaign. And now my phone battery isn’t dying as often!

So, I just watched a very short clip of Fight Club on TV. Brad Pitt’s face was very bloody. It grossed me out. Maybe it’s a good movie like everyone says, but now I have no desire to see it. Sorry, folks.

Well, time for me to get back to laundry. Stay tuned to hear about a new baby and a special man’s 85th birthday (these two things are not related)!

Day 530: Silhouette (Challenge Day 15)

Rachel, Day by Day

30 Day Photography Challenge: Day 15

I’m back! Sorry I’ve been so behind on posting my photos. As you probably read earlier, I’ve been having some computer issues. My awesome friend Steve is looking into it, though! I should have it back sometime this weekend or early next week, so then I’ll be back on track! Here’s a photo I took this past week of a silhouette. I’m pretty sure it counts since the goose is dark in front and there’s the light reflecting off the water behind him. I like how this turned out! I went to a lake near my apartment when I thought the sun was going down. I did get a little nervous after a while because I noticed the geese had baby geese with them. One older goose started walking toward me and I wondered if he felt threatened. I quickly got in my car and drove away. I don’t want to mess with the geese!

In case this photo of a goose doesn’t count as a silhouette, does this one?

This is my shadow. And yes, I took two different photos just to make sure I had the silhouette! I like the one of the goose more than this one, though. Luckily it was a beautiful day for taking this photos!

Let’s see… Tuesday I had a guitar lesson and I’m going to learn Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day. I’m excited about this one since I love this song! I don’t think I can play as fast as the regular song, but we’ll see.

Stay tuned for more posts!

Day 450: Year in Review

Rachel, Day by Day

Hello! So, it’s time for my 2011 year in review (sorry, this will be long) . Thinking about 2011 compared to the past few, it’s been a really good one. I had a lot of memorable moments with friends and family. The year started out great, spending time with Uncle John, Grandpa, Ray, Mom, and Scott. We went out to a fancy dinner for my Uncle John’s 50th birthday and spent the night hanging out and drinking at my mom’s house. It was a great time, except the martini I made didn’t turn out so great! Oh well.

Let’s see, what else have I done this year? I continued taking guitar lessons and really feel like I’ve improved over this year. It was nice playing tennis with work friends and going to occasional happy hours. Game and pizza nights have been fun with Scott’s family, too! Here’s a list of movies I saw for the first time this year (not in any particular order): Black Swan, The Muppets, No Strings Attached, The Social Network (not in the theater), The King’s Speech, Winter’s Bone (not in the theater), Adjustment Bureau, North by Northwest at the Normal Theatre, Vertigo (not in the theater), Water for Elephants, Rear Window (not in the theater), Pirates 4, Bridesmaids, Hangover 2, Winnie the Pooh, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Limitless (not in the theater), Cry Baby (definitely not in the theater since it’s a bit older), Bounty Hunter (not in the theater), Source Code (not in the theater), The Kids Are All Right (not in the theater), Up in the Air (not in the theater), Lion King 3D, and Sherlock Holmes 2.

I can tell you that the worst movie out of this list (in my opinion) was No Strings Attached. Ashton and Natalie were horrible actors in this movie and it wasn’t really funny. Hmmm, I think my favorite movies out of these are Adjustment Bureau and Harry Potter. Of course it was hard to say goodbye to Harry Potter and it was a great ending to the series. I loved the plot of Adjustment Bureau and Emily Blunt is a great actress. Sherlock Holmes 2 and Bridesmaids are close behind these two movies, though!

My favorite shows of the year are Modern Family, House Hunters, Amazing Race, The Office, New Girl, and Glee (not so much right now, though). I think New Girl is my favorite at the moment. Zooey is an awesome actress and I love the chemistry with her and the three boys! I definitely recommend this show.

Here are some other fun things I did and places I went this year: karaoke nights at Bentley’s and Pias, Scott’s mom’s 50th birthday party, two Blackhawks games (and they won both!), the karaoke bar for Christina’s birthday, the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Elmhurst and spending time with friends that day, a cooking class with Scott, Easter brunch with family at Drury Lane, an arena football game with Scott’s friends, Melissa’s bachelorette party (went to bars and a restaurant in Naperville, went minigolfing, got pedicures), Melissa and Larry’s awesome wedding on my birthday, going to Arlington Park Racetrack, my college friends visiting me for the weekend, the Pork and Apple festival, being in a video shoot for work, my friend Anne’s Halloween party (Scott and I dressed up as a gangster and flapper), pumpkin carving with Scott’s family, spending time at Mikey’s bar, seeing Eric’s show in Chicago (True Twilight: A Glee Musical), doing the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, and seeing my cousin Sydney in the Alice in Wonderland play. I also bought a new laptop for myself that I’m typing on right now. I love it!

Here are some few things that were not so great this year: one of my tires blew last winter on a very cold morning, the crazy snow storm in February, firefighters came to my apartment thinking there was a fire (my fire alarm goes off a lot when I use the oven; this was embarrassing), I accidentally let a squirrel in my apartment building, and a squirrel got in Scott’s house (luckily I wasn’t there for this; we’ve had a strange year with squirrels!).

I went to three weddings this year: Josh and Jenny’s in Edwardsville, Bree and Ian’s in Dubuque, and Melissa and Larry’s up north. It was fun taking short little trips to Edwardsville and Dubuque, and it was great meeting Scott’s friends. I was a bridesmaid in Melissa’s wedding and it was fun spending the day with all of the girls and dancing the night away! Congrats to all you crazy couples!

I joined the whole smartphone world this year, too. My mom and I bought Droids on Black Friday. I think it’s pretty cool, but I still really don’t use the Internet that much. I can see it being great if I wanted or needed to check my e-mail all the time, but I don’t really. I do like my notepad app, though, since I write notes to myself a lot!

I think the biggest world news this year was that Osama Bin Laden was killed. It feels like it happened a long time ago already. I think it definitely boosted the country’s morale, especially since our economy has been struggling for so long. I never I thought I’d be glad to hear about a person’s death, so maybe I felt a little weird about the whole thing. I definitely didn’t want to see the photos, so I’m glad they weren’t released.

The Blackhawks Convention was great this year! I had a fun time with my family and sitting in on some of the seminars. It was fun spending time in Chicago again, too. Plus, I got to meet Jonathan Toews again and this time I got my picture taken with him! I had fun hanging out at the hotel bar a few nights, too. My brother got a lot of autographs just by staying up late and waiting by the front door of the hotel. Good times.

My mom was called in on Windy City Live this year, too! She won a gift card to an awesome restaurant in Chicago. Here’s the video: http://windycitylive.com/video?id=8406332

I went on some amazing trips this year. My mom, Ray, Scott, and I went to Las Vegas for a long weekend near the end of May. We stayed at Monte Carlo; the pool there was great! I think we spent time there every day, which was nice and relaxing. Scott and I walked on the strip a lot, which is always fun to do. We went to a really fancy bar called Mandarin Bar. The view was beautiful, so we sat by the window and enjoyed some cocktails. It was fun dressing up, too. On our last night, we went to a piano bar and had a great time. The woman even played a Lady Gaga song for me. Fun vacation!

I also went to the upper peninsula of Michigan with my family to visit my Uncle John. We had a nice time! We saw the 4th of July parade, played some tennis, saw many beautiful scenic areas and waterfalls, and did some gambling. I even played a round of golf with my brother, mini and real. I’m not that great, but it was fun! I always love spending time with my family. I hope we go to Michigan this year!

In August, Scott and I went to San Francisco, which was an amazing trip. You probably already know what happened there if you know me. 😉 We both had never been there before, which made it extra special. Some highlights of the trip include seeing crooked Lombard Street, having wine for happy hour at our hotel, eating great food (I fell in love with rainbow trout), seeing the Fortune Cookie Factory and the Cable Car Museum, seeing Jimmy Stewart’s apartment in Vertigo, going to Alcatraz and Ghirardelli Square, walking to Golden Gate Bridge, spending time at Fisherman’s Wharf, playing at Musee Mechanique, seeing the Full House house, seeing the Haight/Ashbury district, and going to the Cubs. vs. Giants game at AT&T Park.

Of course, the best day in San Francisco was when we walked through Golden Gate Park and had dinner next to the Pacific Ocean. Scott proposed to me on the beach after dinner and we celebrated at a bar called Vesuvio later. I had no idea that day would be so life changing, and this year! It was definitely one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on, and I’m so happy I found Scott. 🙂

I think I’ll write about what I did New Years Eve in another post since this is so long. But, to sum up, this year has been great. I did so many fun things and went to many awesome places. I got to spend a lot of time with friends and family. And I’m engaged to an amazing guy. It’s hard not to smile when thinking about 2011. I’ll miss you! But I sense more amazing times to come.

Day 390: Yellow Flowers

Rachel, Day by Day

Hello! If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you’ll know that I love taking pictures of flowers. These pretty yellow ones are near work, so I see them every day and have wanted to take a photo. I finally took a picture of them this morning. Yay! Aren’t they pretty? There’s something about the colors yellow and green together; I love it. What kind of flowers are these? Does anyone know? I honestly don’t know much about flowers, but I can tell you they are pretty. I have yet to find a flower where I thought, “Eww, that’s the ugliest flower I’ve ever seen!” Good times. Yay flowers.

I made some cookies yesterday and they were delicious! Click here for the recipe. They are actually low carb cookies, but they still tasted amazing. Scott and I ate the rest of them, so sorry I can’t share any with you. The secret is that there are actually no almonds in the cookies, but there’s almond extract. Ha, I got you! Mmmm, but the cookies reminded me of those almond cookies at Chinese restaurants. Scott says they are better than the ones at Chinese restaurants. They are really easy to make, so I can make them again for you if you’d like. Just let me know. Yes, you. You reading this.

I’m really really really really really tired of hearing about Arnold Schwarzenegger and his personal problems. Why can’t we just leave him, his wife (soon to be ex), and his family alone? I see headlines to articles about him, but I don’t read them. I just roll my eyes. We need something better to talk about in the news. Oh, speaking of something better in the news, I just saw a yahoo article about how Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris aren’t getting married anymore. He’s 85 and she’s 25. There are so many negative things I could say about this, but I’ll make this a shorter post.

I’ve been playing more tennis lately and it’s been great! I’ll never get tired of this sport, and it’s one of the few ways I get some exercise. I feel like I’m improving a bit, too. Let’s keep playing, tennis friends! Anyone else want to play, too? Let me know!

I had a guitar lesson today and it was awesome. I’m learning two news songs: Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri and Paparazzi by Lady Gaga. I love these songs! I definitely play them slower than normal, but you can tell what songs they are! I’ll play them for you if you want. Maybe I’ll have a little concert at my apartment. I’ll make it fancy with some wine and cheese. Maybe some caviar and brie, too. We’ll see. Anyway, my point was that I’m having a lot of fun with my guitar lessons.

Thing that made me happy today: Too many things to list. 🙂

Day 356: Cozumel Dolphin

Rachel, Day by Day

This photo was taken in my dolphin-themed bathroom. I like the angling of this photo and how you can see the dolphin decoration in the mirror. Plus, you can sort of see my dolphin shower curtain in the background! I bought this decoration in Cozumel in 2007. My mom and I swam with dolphins there, and I immediately became obsessed with dolphins. I already liked them anyway, but I ended up loving them after that experience. It was amazing! It’s something I’ll always remember. I wanted to buy dolphin things in Cozumel since that’s where this awesome memory took place. It is definitely one of the greater experiences in life. You should do it! Why are you just sitting there reading this? Go swim with dolphins!

Today was a busy day for me! Work, tennis, then guitar lesson. I want to be lazy the rest of the night. Tennis was a lot of fun and I felt like I was hitting a bit better today. Well, maybe not better, but harder. My guitar lesson went well, too. I’m learning Realize by Colbie Caillat right now. It’s fun!

I finished the last Harry Potter book maybe 10 minutes ago! I won’t say much about it if you are planning on seeing the last movie, but I definitely liked it more the second time around. Here’s one of my favorite quotes in the book: Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love.

Well, have a nice and relaxing Tuesday night!

Day 342: Lindy

Rachel, Day by Day

Here is my precious dog, Lindy. She’s been with me my entire life. My mom gave her to me, and I hope to give her to my daughter someday, too. Or son if I don’t have a daughter. Or niece if I don’t have kids. Ok, you get the point. I really like this photo, because Lindy is front and center, but you can see my other stuffed animals in the background. I was hoping they’d turn out a bit blurry, and they did! It makes the photo look artistic. But, isn’t Lindy so cute?? She is very good at cuddling, too. I love her!!

It’s been a busy night! Tennis, guitar lesson, and Glee. All good things.

Well, today I had my last cup of coffee until Easter. I think it will be really tough since I drink at least one cup of coffee a day. Hopefully I’ll get used to it after a week or so. I plan to drink a lot of tea!

I’m sleepy. Goodnight!
