Color Challenge: Orange Day 2

This is kind of a boring photo, but hey, it has something orange in it! I was making bruschetta for a friend earlier and realized I could take a photo of my favorite knife! Don’t worry; I’m not a big fan of knives or anything, but this is the best one I have for cutting and chopping things. Look how good those tomatoes look! The rest of my knives aren’t that great; I bought a really cheap set at Target when I moved into my first apartment on my own. And they aren’t that great because they’re not orange! So, that’s my orange knife for you. Sorry, it really doesn’t have an exciting story.

New episodes of Glee and New Girl are on tonight! I’ll be relaxing on my couch and watching these shows tonight. Wow, it was a beautiful day today! Can you believe it’s January and almost 60 degrees? I hope February and March has 50-degree weather, too. I got to be outside for a bit today and it felt nice to get the fresh air.

How many hours of sleep do you get every night? I know you are supposed to get 7 or 8 hours of sleep, but I usually get around 6 or 6.5 hours. I think that extra hour or two of sleep would help occasionally, but sometimes it takes me a while to fall asleep. Any suggestions? I heard warm milk before bedtime helps. I’ve never tried it.

  1. I usually have to do something in the dark for about a half an hour or so before I go to sleep – like, I’ll watch T.V. in my bedroom with the lights out. It helps my body realize that it’s nighttime.
